The fan filter modules called FFM (fan filter module) or FFU (fan filter unit) are the active elements at clean rooms, mini environments, clean room transport systems and at clean air workstations.

These, made up of the housing, the filter medium (filter for suspended matters) and appropriate ventilator technology, generate cleanest air and lead it into the area in which it is used. Pre-filter systems, speed controllers and surveillance of pressure can be integrated optionally.
COLANDIS GmbH offers its customers four fan filter module lines.

FFM-C

• frames made of aluminium
• low frame height (ca. 200mm)
• to a far extent standardized sizes

FFM-E

• housing made of stainless steel (satin)
• possibility to attach customer-specific anchorages at the housing

FFM-I

• for installation in mini environments and existing machine housings
• adaptable to customer-specific connection sizes

SRM (clean room module)

• for use in areas in which the classified degrees of purity according to ISO 14644 have not become urgently necessary to reach yet but the general production conditions are not sufficient for handling the products any more.
